Owl International recently announced version 3.05 of Guide that contains additional «multimedia extensions» that facilitate the use of peripheral equipment through Windows 3.0. Owl can be reached on Compuserve in the WINAPB section at the electronic address 76702,1232. (N. del A.) You can import RTF files to HyperCard thanks to a utility stack called HyperCard RTF. This is actually a series of XFCNs (external functions) that read the RTF format flawlessly. There is no loss of accents, diacritical marks or text styling. HyperCard RTF is available for $12.00 from Differential Development, P.O. Box 1044, Harvard Square Station, Cambridge, MA 02238. I have also placed a copy on the Depositorio Hispánico under the name «HyperCardRTF.HQX» should you wish to download it. Though this is a self-extracting Compactor archive file, you will need a utility called Binhex in order to «unpack» the program. You should consult your local Macintosh support personnel if you do not have a copy of this program or you can send me a blank 800K diskette and SASE and I will send you a copy of HyperCard RTF by mail.
